This Palladian mansion in County Wicklow housed the Beit collection of Old Masters. It holds the unenviable record of being one of the most-robbed private art collections in the world, targeted in 1974 (by IRA member Rose Dugdale), 1986 (by gangster Martin Cahill), and twice more in the early 2000s.
